You must be surprised. Yes, my scanner is still broken. but my dad got a new scanner recently. Just haven't been able to get to it until yesterday and won't be able to use it often because it's at my dad's work place...
Sketch took about 10-15 minutes, used a lot of different references from various Clamp works (such as Tsubasa [the hat], Sakura(clothing colors), X 1999, and more). Coloring took longer only because I drew it the week after midterms and then had no time until this weekend. The hat and the clothes were created with a little help with references. However, the coloring and the SHOES are entirely mine. I designed and created the shoes without any references and am very very proud of them. I am also proud of the hair and the way I colored them. It looks very shiny and washed...and nice. Overall, I am very happy with the way it came out.
One critique though, would be the hand and sleeve on my left. It looks too stiff compared with the rest of the piece and doesn't really sit well...yeah..and there are probably more things wrong with it..but I just won't bother because I like this a lot.
